If you’re unsure where to start when it comes to networking, join the club.

We surveyed hundreds of job seekers and found that they wanted help with networking before resumes, interviewing, or cover letters.
In response to this need, we’ve developed a 6-step funnel for networkers to follow for an awesome networking experience; watch out for the next 5 steps later!

Step 1: Identify Yourself

In other words, identify your interests, passions, and needs.
Ask yourself these questions to complete the first step:
Interests: What do you find interest in? What did you enjoy learning in school? How do you spend most of your free time?
Passions: When was the last time you felt motivated? What gets you up in the morning? What do you love to do?
Needs: Where are you located, or, where are you willing to move to? What kind of compensation will you need to live your lifestyle? How do you want your work-life balance split?
Once you’ve done a thorough job of answering these questions, you’ll have the foundation necessary to move through the next 5 steps of the networking funnel.
